Objective Evaluation
Past Performance
Past performance is the only true predictor of future performance, yet hiring decisions are rarely based on an objective evaluation of a candidate's past performance as it applies to the desired outcomes.
Unfortunate hiring decisions are often made in favor of the best interviewer, rather than the person best suited to perform the objectives of the position. Emotional decisions based on time pressure and/or personality and affability of the candidate can be greatly minimized by placing heavy emphasis on past performance of tasks and achievement of goals similar to your own.
We will assist you in asking interview questions that get at specific past performance and the candidate's true individual contribution. These questions will target contributions that are most applicable to your desired outcomes. You will learn the details of why and how decisions were made and what actions were taken by the candidate and their specific outcomes. You will be able to draw reasonable parallels between the candidates past performance and your desired future performance from this individual.
