Diligently posting resumes on large job boards, responding to job postings on many company websites and responding to internet job ads wherever they appear seems like it would result in being hired in a new job.   In stead, it results in frustration  and disappointment, wasted time and energy and lost opportunity with those same companies. 

Why?  When your resume arrives in the HR inbox, it is arriving as one of a large flock on the desk of an individual who is far removed from the job in question, is overworked and uninformed about what the hiring manager actually needs.  This makes for little ability to apply your background to the job in question.  Unless you have exactly the same job title, in the exact competitive niche, you are going into the round file.  What else can you do?

By taking a proactive approach, you will communicate directly with a manager who knows what your background means.  You will distinguish yourself from most candidates by taking this proactive approach.  Unlike most candidates, you will add an important new dimension to your candidacy through your voice and presentation.

Develop Your Personal Marketing List:  $900.00   This is the list of appropriate companies and the correct contact in them, within your target market and geographic area.  These are the contacts for your search.  These contacts, if handled properly, can form a strong network for the duration of your career.
